Default pet bar

just a few ideas so you can keep up with your pets progresssion

IDEA #1
Basically its just like the player Level bar, cept its for your pet so u can see how much it has till its next level.
Once the pet hits level20 the bar will stay full, then u have the option to get rid of it via the edit interface menu.
Also the bar will only show if you have the Charm animal skill in your skill bar so it doesnt show when u havent got your pet or arent a ranger.
Screenie of what it could llook like:

IDEA #2
The second idea adds a new bar to your hero menu so it doesnt add more clutter to your HUD.

maybe being able to track your pets progression will open up a few new titles too, like pet survival maybe.

let me know what yall think.

I like this idea. It's functional, and seems to be somewhat of a nessessity if you are constantly worried about your next level jump. Good job.

It'll get there when it gets there. I find this rather unneccessary, it has no improvement to battle function, which is the real point of anything on your screen, Personally, I would get rid of the Exp bar for my actual exp if I knew how, it is clutter.

It wouldn't hurt to add an optional pet exp gauge, but I would rather have tamable lvl 20 pets so you don't even have to level them..... What's better?

personally i wouldnt like to cap a lvl20 pet, kinda takes the fun out of it and the point in having a pet imo, but hey to every1 their own.

i agree with the clutter on the screen, but id still like to see how my pet is progressing.

if not a bar then perhaps a section in the *H* menu under your expbar so you can also see how much more xp it needs in numbers rather than just the bar.

ill do a pic on PS to show this.

speaking of a "pet-bar" i think that having the charm animal skill equpited should allow a 4 slot "pet attack" bar to be enabled, allowing you pet to have attacks. any shouts or other buffs for the pet should remain on your own skill bar. after all, the pet is an NPC, and you dont have to tell henchmen what skills to take, nor do their states rely on you. if people would see this as overpowering, then perhaps it would be made a little better with a new animal skill such as "advanced training" or some other name, that you have to equip along with charm animal, which gives you between 1-4 attack slots for your pet, determined by beast mastery attribute level. the smaller pet attack bar would be places above your own skill bar, and could be movable on its own, through the customize interface option. short cut keys would possilby be 9, 0, -, and = (didn't check to see if they were used for anything before typing that, so if they are, please forgive me.) just a small opinion here..

Make it a tab that only shows up if you're a ranger primary or secondary. :P
